Dr. Prutha Desai was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for her undergraduate studies, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in Business and Chemistry. She then attended the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, graduating in 2016. Dr. Desai’s favorite part about dentistry is her patients; she values connecting with them and building on the relationships through the years. She enjoys all phases of dentistry, especially esthetic dentistry, which includes crowns, bridges, veneers, and tooth-colored fillings, as well as pediatric dentistry, extractions, and root canals. When not in the office, you can find Dr. Desai with her husband and two boys, rock climbing, reading, or planning her next big hike. She looks forward to meeting you and treating you with the utmost care and gentle hands while providing a comfortable experience for you and your whole family. Dr. Desai is certified in Invisalign orthodontic treatment and speaks English, Gujarati, Hindi, and Spanish.
