Dr Denise Halliburton

Dr. Denise Halliburton is a native of New York City. She graduated from Hampton University with degrees in Biological Sciences (Bachelor of Science) and Medical Science (Master of Science). She attended Howard University College of Dentistry, where she obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. She completed her residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Halliburton was commissioned in the US Army in 2003 after being an enlisted soldier upon graduation from high school and served as a platoon leader in the US Army Reserves. She is passionate about educating children in schools, churches, and non-profit organizations on proper oral hygiene and the importance of dentistry and overall wellness. She volunteers with TeamSmile and The Hope Clinic and has given dental care to people of Seine Bight, Belize. Dr. Halliburton is a part-time faculty member and Clinical Instructor in the General Dentistry clinic at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, teaching 3rd and 4th-year dental students clinical skills on actual patients. She is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (over 500 continuing education hours and rigorous exam), a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and received advanced training at SPEAR. Dr. Halliburton has advanced training in all areas of dentistry and is committed to the unique needs and oral health goals of patients, providing general, cosmetic, and restorative dental services.
