With over three full decades of experience, Dr. Abdullah’s expertise is expansive. As Grand Dental – Aurora’s in-house periodontist and implantologist is always happy to upgrade a patient’s smile. Why Did Dr. Abdullah Become a Dentist? Ever since he can remember, Dr. Abdullah loved creating things with his hands and problem solving. Fixing things that are broken has been a lifelong source of joy for him, and his work as a periodontal specialist lets him realize this passion as he cares for patients. Where Did He Study Dentistry? After completing his dental doctorate at the Loyola University School of Dentistry, Dr. Abdullah pursued his Master and Specialty Certificate in Periodontology from Tufts University. He is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology, which is an honor that represents his commitment to clinical excellence and continuing education. Over the past 25 years, he has taught in the department of postgraduate periodontology at the University of Illinois School of Dentistry.
