In 1993, at the age of 15, Dr. Peter Do came to the US and resided in Oceanside, CA, without speaking English. He attended El Camino High School and graduated with honour and ranked number 5th of 366 students. He then went to University of San Diego majoring in Biochemistry. While in college, Dr. Do worked as a dental assistant. Dr. Peter Do graduated from Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry, in 2008 at the top 10 percent of his clinical class. Dr. Do is a continuing education credit junkie. During the past three years, he has spent over 250 hours taking continuing education classes although the State of California required only 75 hours. Besides practicing dentistry, Dr. Do also is involved in organizations that serve the community. He is one of the board directors of Neighborhood Health Care, a non profit health organisation that serves both San Diego and Riverside counties. He is also a member of the East Escondido Rotary Club, and a member of the Escondido Chamber of Commerce. In 2010, Dr. Do partnered with Neighborhood Health Care and launched a new program called Healthy Smile.
