Dr. Leahey is a Tufts graduate who grew up right outside of Seattle, Washington. She earned a B.S. in Biology from Dickinson College, and then attended Tufts University of Dental Medicine. During her time, she contributed to research projects in the Oral Surgery Department. Her dental research has been presented at the American College of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Annual Conference and the International Association of Dental Research General Session. In her free time she enjoys hiking, painting, yoga, and spending time with her family.
