Dr. Monesmith was born and raised in New Haven, Indiana. He completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University. His Doctor of Dental Surgery degree was obtained from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1989. Dr. Monesmith then completed his Oral and Maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago. He then started practice in Jasper, Indiana in 1993. Drs. Monesmith and Wood formed their partnership in 2005. They opened a second office in Vincennes, Indiana in 2008. Practice interests include: dental-alveolar surgery, dental implants, orthognathic surgery, pathology, and trauma. He is on staff at Memorial Hospital in Jasper and Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. Dr. Monesmith and his wife have four children and have resided in Jasper since 1993. He enjoys golf, tennis, fishing and participating in church related activities.
