Dr. Michael Pitt was born and raised in Evansville, growing up 3 blocks from his current office. He completed grade school at St. Joseph, graduated from Reitz Memorial High School in 1974 and in 1977 received his bachelors degree, graduating magna cum laude, from Indiana State University – Evansville (presently the University of Southern Indiana). He continued his education at Indiana University School of Dentistry, graduating with distinction in 1981. After practicing several years in New Harmony, IN, he moved back to his hometown and has been at the present location on North Weinbach since 1987. Since completing his formal education, Dr. Pitt stays current with new techniques and methods with his dedication to continuing education. Currently, Dr. Pitt is a member of the following organizations: American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, First District Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, OKU Honorary Society (Induction is given to the top 15 students in the class).
