Dr. Trish Kessler-Bookhout spent her childhood working and growing up on her family’s rural Clay County, Illinois farm where her parents still reside. At an early age, she had a distinct interest in dentistry, often spending her summers assisting in the dental office, which is now her own, Meadowview Dental Group. After attending the University of Illinois, she accepted invitation into the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine where she excelled as one of the top clinical students in her class and graduated with honors in 1994. The new doctor quickly established a successful practice, but actively continued to seek advanced training in cosmetic dentistry from the world renowned, Las Vegas Institute (LVI). Dr. Bookhout has also compiled extensive training in digital dentistry, implants, orthodontics, office management, and other specialties. She has established memberships in the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Academy of Women Dentists (AAWD), and many others. Dr. Trish has been the recipient of awards and accolades from the Quintessence Award in Restorative Dentistry, the American Society of Dentistry for Children, and the Edward Hatton Rural Dentistry award. She has been a guest lecturer at SIU-SDM and is a past President of the Wabash River Dental Society. In addition to treating thousands of patients, she is also committed to serving the community on the Carle Richland Memorial Hospital board of directors, the Jasper County Health Department, and volunteering to help various local organizations. Dr. Trish truly enjoys her work and the relationships she builds with her patients. She takes pride in providing premier dentistry with her team right here in southern Illinois.
