Dr. Daesha Erickson grew up in a small town north of Seattle called Snohomish, Washington. In this rural, tight knit community, she thrived in sports and academics. After graduating Snohomish High School as a star athlete and class valedictorian, she began her undergraduate studies at Seattle Pacific University where she played NCAA Division II basketball for the SPU Falcons. She graduated from SPU in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Upon graduation, Dr. Daesha took two years to travel and play professional basketball internationally. In 2012, she began her doctoral program at the respected University of Washington School of Dentistry where she was fortunate to meet her future husband, Dr. Justin Erickson. Dr. Daesha and Dr. Erickson graduated from the University of Washington DDS program in 2016. Upon graduating, they moved to Alaska to start their dental careers in private practice with Affordable Dental Care.
