Dr Ecsile Chang

Dr. Ecsile Chang was born and raised in Fairbanks. She graduated from Lathrop High School and was a UA Scholar. She attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks on a full scholarship for undergrad and earned a Bachelor’s of Biological Science degree. She graduated from UAF with honors and was inducted into the Golden Key International Honor Society. To pursue her dream, she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where she was accepted into the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine program. After completing the program, she earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree and graduated in the top 10% of her class. Dr. Chang was very active throughout her time at school. She was an officer for The Sgt. Ferrin’s Veteran Dental Clinic, which offered free dental care to military veterans. She was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and presented her research project at the American and International Association of Dental Research Conference. She co-authored an industry publication and was also a member of her class council for all four years. Being raised in the beautiful city of Fairbanks, Dr. Chang had no doubt that she wanted to return and serve the community that once served her. She is also the first Korean dentist in Fairbanks. Dr. Chang is an active member of the American Dental Association, Alaska Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the Korean Community of Fairbanks.
