Dr. Nikki was born in Alaska and jokes she has “dual citizenship” since she spent part of her childhood in Alaska and part in Arizona. Alaska has always been where her heart is though, and after high school, she returned to Alaska to attend the University of Alaska, Anchorage. At UAA is where she developed a love for the sciences and dentistry. She obtained a degree in Biology from UAA then had to once again temporarily leave Alaska to attend dental school. Dr. Nikki graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in California. During dental school is where she met her now husband and work partner, Todd. She helped Todd fall in love with Alaska as well and they both moved to Fairbanks after dental school graduation. After dental school, Dr. Nikki pursued her passion for public health and pediatric dentistry at Tanana Chiefs Conference. Dr. Nikki loves seeing her patients transform their smiles and their lives. She is funny and caring with all her patients of any age and especially loves connecting with children and helping them overcome their fears at the dentist. Dr. Nikki is happy to now be a part of the family business, continuing to serve Alaskans with their dental needs. Nikki loves the tight-knit community of Fairbanks and the beauty of all of the seasons. In the warmer months, you will find her with her green thumb in her garden and enjoying walks outside with her family. In the winter, you will find her playing with her children and family both outdoors and indoors. Nikki also enjoys working out, doing crafts with her children, and playing with her two cats.
