Dr. Sweeney was born and raised in the area and received his Bachelor of Science from The University of Alabama in Biology and his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at The University of Alabama School of Dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Sweeney elected to further his education at the University Hospital of Dentistry in a General Practice Residency. This experience provided an opportunity to expand his knowledge and understanding of comprehensive dental care. Dr. Sweeney is a member of the American Dental Association. He is an avid runner and hiker and enjoys being in the great outdoors in his spare time.
