Dr. Lovell graduated from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 1974. After graduation, Dr. Lovell entered the U. S. Navy Dental Corps. He then was in private practice in West Virginia from 1976-2003. In 2008, Dr. Lovell was appointed to the Northeast Regional Board of Dental Examiners as a consultant examiner. He remains involved with the testing agency. He began teaching in the Restorative Dentistry Department at West Virginia University in 2003 and left in 2016 as an Associate Professor. Dr. Lovell has trained at some of the finest dental institutions in the country and offers a broad range of advanced skills. His background includes technical training designing comfortable and natural dentures, replacing missing teeth with innovative techniques, and correcting problems involving the jaw and bite. His wife Kathy and he moved to Spanish Fort in February of 2016 when he joined the dental team at Azalea City Dental.
