Dr. Nick Bakkum graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Chemistry Minor in 2003. He went on to pursue his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Minnesota. He and his wife, Emily, returned to the area after his graduation from the U of M in 2008. Dr. Bakkum is an active member of the American Dental Association and the North Dakota Dental Association. He volunteers his time with the Red River Valley Dental Access Project, providing free dental care to patients who otherwise could not afford it. Dr. Bakkum is experienced in many aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry and has experience in both private dental practice and public health practice.
