Dr. LaTonya Gillespie-Johnson, DDS opened Southern Pearl Dentistry on August 28, 2019, where she began to fulfill her dream of owning her own dental practice. Dr. Gillespie-Johnson began her career in dentistry in 2009. After earning her undergraduate degree in Biology from Voorhees College, now University, she made her way to the Midwest to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a native of College Park, Georgia, wife, mother, and business owner, Dr. Gillespie-Johnson enthusiastically brings her passion for oral healthcare to her hometown. In keeping with her commitment to ensure that her patients have access to the best possible treatment options, Dr. Gillespie-Johnson is always perfecting her craft by continuing her education of the latest developments in dental technology.
