Dr. Legette was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended Xavier University of Louisiana, worked for the Environmental Protection Agency and as a researcher for the University of Notre Dame. She earned DDS and MPH degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She worked over eight and a half years in rural area community health centers providing comprehensive family dental care. She opened College Lakes Family Dentistry in June 2008. Practicing for over 19 years, at current location for 11 years, with ongoing continuing education.
