With degrees in Genetics Biology at the University of British Columbia (1994), and Social Ecology from UC Irvine (2000), Dr. Pong received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery Degree from the prestigious University of Southern California, Ostrow School of Dentistry (2004). Dr. Pong is an active member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, a member of ASIRD, A South King County Dental Study (SKDS) Club member, a Kois Center Member, a New-Member Ambassador and currently a Leadership Committee Representative of Seattle King County Dental Society. Dr. Pong is also an SKDS Delegate Rep for the WSDA House of Delegates. If that is not enough, Dr. Pong also spends his off days or his free time and weekends as an On- Call Dentist at the International Community Health Services Non-profit dental clinic in the International District in Greater Seattle, catering to the underserved community. Outside of the profession, Dr. Pong and his wife, Dr. Tam Q. Dinh, Ph.D have three boys, Sebastian, Oliver, and Gabriel who keep them busy and grounded. Dr. Pong doesn’t have any one hobby per se; perhaps actively experiencing the entire breadth of what life offers us is what he enjoys the most.
