Growing up in Fostoria, I went to one of the original doctors of this practice when I was a child. I always had something that needed fixed after every hygiene appointment: I think I managed to be in the No Cavity Club only one time as a child! Nevertheless, I was always intrigued and asked many questions about my dental care. My doctor was always great at answering those questions and making me feel comfortable with what he was doing, and why. These early experiences made me want to pursue dentistry as a profession. After graduating from Fostoria High School in 1998, I attended the University of Michigan, where I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. Continuing on there, I then earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). I’ve now been in practice for over 17 years and each day am reminded of why I chose this career and the ways it enriches my life. Every person who comes to the office for care is unique and special. Each has different needs, expectations, and concerns, too. It is my responsibility to listen, educate, and work closely with the individual to identify the treatment options available to address their situation. I enjoy getting to know patients as people and value how relationships grow as a result of us working together. With each person, I strive to improve their dental and systemic health, for a better quality and more enjoyment of life. My team shares my passion for service to our patients and our community. We are united in our love for helping people and consider our patients to extensions of our families.
