Born and raised in the Indianapolis and Fishers area of Indiana, Dr. Dwenger is excited to be living and practicing in her hometown. After graduating from Cathedral High School in 2012, she studied at the University of Indianapolis where she represented and competed for the Women’s Golf Team, earning a National Championship in 2015, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2016. She then continued her education, receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2020. Prior to working in private practice, Dr. Dwenger wanted to further her knowledge and expertise by completing a General Practice Residency at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital located in Pontiac, Michigan-- learning skills from different specialties and special needs care. During her time in undergraduate and graduate education, Dr. Dwenger acted as the Volunteer Coordinator, providing opportunities for herself and her colleagues to give back to the Indianapolis and Fishers communities through Riley Children’s Hospital, The Ronald McDonald House, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Community Outreach holds a special place in Dr. Dwenger’s heart and career, and she continues this practice by beginning an annual Canned Food Drive at Fishers Dental Care, volunteers at the Heart and Soul Free Dental Clinic, and is an active member of the Fisher’s Rotary Club. Dr. Dwenger is also a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, and Indianapolis District Dental Society – holding a leadership role as the Membership Committee Co-Chair. Dr. Dwenger is a Fellow of The American College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. To ensure being ahead of the evolving profession of dentistry and providing the best care for her patients, Dr. Dwenger continues her practice of dentistry and education through various Study Clubs including Spear Education and the American Academy of Clear Aligners. In her free time, Dr. Dwenger enjoys golfing, traveling, and watching movies. Dr. Dwenger and her husband, Zack, have a son and dog. They currently reside in the Fishers area. Dr. Dwenger is excited to work alongside her father, Dr. Kevin Ward, and is looking forward to seeing you soon.
