Dr Antonela Larashi

Growing up, with her mother being a pediatrician, Dr. Antonela Larashi always knew that she wanted to enter a profession where she could care for others and help them to improve their health. As a child, she had a dentist who was always friendly and a joy to visit, which was part of what sparked her interest in the dental field. Dentistry offered a different type of work-life balance than traditional medicine and so after graduating college with a degree in Chemistry, she went on to study dental medicine at Boston University. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2013. Throughout Dr. Larashi’s education, she enjoyed the diverse patient population whom she was able to serve: seniors especially. “I find it extremely fulfilling to see a patient smile again or get out of pain,” she says. Her favorite part of dentistry? “The long-lasting relationships”. Being able to see her patients on a frequent basis allows her to establish true bonds that go beyond just the traditional dentist-patient connection. Dentistry is always changing and advancing the ways that Dr. Larashi can provide care to her patients. She is a lifelong learner, frequently taking continuing education courses to implement the latest research into her services. Dr. Larashi is very passionate about staying up to date with the latest technology on treatments such as dental implant placement, laser dentistry (including drill-free fillings), orthodontics and same day CEREC crowns. Some of her most recent training includes courses on the Bioclear Method, which is a cosmetic treatment that closes dark spaces between front teeth, as well as mini-implant placement to properly secure dentures in a minimally invasive way. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association and the Genesee District Dental Society.
