Dr. Shearer has volunteered for KY Operation Bright Smile, the KY State Fair Sealant program and as an externship instructor for the AHEC program. She has served as a Missionary dentist in the Dominican Republic as well as an educator and off-site instructor for dental students at U of L School of Dentistry. Dr. Shearer is a current member of the Shinkle Society for The Children’s Home of NKY. After practicing in Louisville for several years she moved to Northern Kentucky upon her marriage to Dr. Clay Shearer. Dr. Clay Shearer is a Dermatologist at The Dermatology Center. The couple enjoys spending time with their family, outdoor activities, running and working out. Dr. Shearer has been nominated by her peers as Top Dentist in Cincinnati and NKY Magazine. She has been recognised as Cincinnati's 100 Wise Women by the National Association of Professional Women.
