Dr Emily Wilhite

Emily Wilhite is the Type A, OCD, perfectionist that you always wanted in a dentist. But don’t let this fool you! She is also kind hearted, compassionate, and genuinely cares about the well-being of all of her patients. When she joined the team at GFFD, she brought the perfect balance to Dr. Green’s spontaneity and forgetfulness. A native of West Monroe, Louisiana, Emily graduated from Louisiana Tech before completing dental school at LSU School of Dentistry. She learned in dental school how to multi-task, balancing a rigorous curriculum with the joys (and stress) of early motherhood. She and her family moved back to West Monroe to begin her dental career and continue to grow their family. The Wilhite family took a leap of faith in the summer of 2020 and moved to MS to join the GFFD team, a dream she and Dr. Green always hoped for. Emily brings a sense of purpose and calm to whatever she pursues and has a unique ability to provide uncompromising care and a gentle nature to her patients. When she is not bettering the profession of dentistry, Emily currently spends her time on the road, chauffeuring kids between activities, lessons, and games. “Mom” is her number one priority, and her family is what motivates her to strive for excellence daily.
