Dr. Schramm is a native of Winston-Salem, NC. He received both his undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After completing a postgraduate residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at UNC in 1989, Dr. Schramm established a private practice in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Schramm has served as a clinical instructor in both the Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene programs at Central Piedmont Community College. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, North Carolina Dental Society, Charlotte Dental Society, Randolph Dental Study Club, OLE (Outer Loop Education Study Club), and American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. In 2000, Dr. Schramm was awarded the status of Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry at the Academy's national meeting held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This status can only be attained after completing more than 500 hours of continuing education and passing a comprehensive national exam.
