A Ft. Myers native, Dr. Hendry is a descendent of the pioneering Hendry family who were among the first to settle in Southwest Florida. Dr. Hendry follows in his father's footsteps who practiced dentistry in Ft. Myers from 1962-2002. He is affiliated with the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Southwest Florida Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Seattle Study Club. Dr. Hendry completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and earned his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry degree from the University of Florida in 1988. He has participated in national dental research and has contributed to several periodicals on dental related topics. Dr. Hendry is active in several community organizations. He has been involved in the Rotary Club, YMCA, South Ft. Myers Little League, Edison Pageant of Light, United Way of Lee County, and the state chairman of the Coastal Conservation Association. In his free time, Dr. Hendry enjoys fishing, golfing, cycling, and traveling.
