Dr. Joseph Khawand received his MS in biomedical science from George Mason University and his dental degree from Howard University, COD. He received his GPR (general practice residency) at NYU-Langone Brooklyn Hospital. Dr. Khawand enjoys dentistry because he gets to improve the health and smiles of his patients. As a dentist, he is able to catch pathology and signs of systemic disease before some medical professionals can. He is especially interested in helping patients with TMJ, sleep apnea, esthetic smile makeovers and implant surgery. Outside of work, Dr. Khawand enjoys martial arts, jujitsu, kickboxing, golfing, fitness, traveling and spending time with family and friends. He speaks fluent Arabic and basic Spanish.
