Dr Emma O'Heeney

Dr. Emma O’Heeney is a proud Fort Wayne native who is excited to bring her dental expertise to Yager Family Dentistry. Dr. O graduated from Bishop Dwenger High School and then earned a BS from the University of Notre Dame, majoring in science pre-professional studies and Spanish and studying abroad in Spain and Poland. She graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and promptly moved back to Fort Wayne, where she has provided compassionate dental care for the last several years. Dr. O’Heeney is dedicated to expanding her knowledge and refining her clinical skills through regular continuing education courses. She understands dental practice as a beautiful fusion of art and science, and particularly enjoys cosmetic dentistry and facial injectables. While she appreciates the technical aspects of dentistry, she finds the most fulfillment in caring for patients and building personal connections with them. She loves dental questions, so don’t hesitate to ask! Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. O’Heeney cherishes spending time with her husband, Quinn, and their three small children. Together they love game nights, traveling, trying new foods, scuba diving, and enjoying the many wonderful things life in Fort Wayne has to offer. Dr. O relishes a good podcast, dabbles in a variety of crafts, and is attempting to become a better plant mom. Any tips and tricks are welcome!
