Dr. Austin Burnett was born and raised in Southern California, excelling academically at Troy High School in Fullerton, where he graduated with High Honors from the Troy Tech program. He earned an academic scholarship to Brigham Young University in Utah, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology with minors in Chemistry and Japanese. He later graduated Magna cum laude from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. His research on stem cell use in dentistry earned him a competitive research grant and multiple publications. Dr. Burnett completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at Cook County Hospital. He holds certifications in ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and BLS. He is a member of AAOMS, California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, California Dental Society of Anesthesiology, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, ADA, CDA, and OCDS.
