Dr. Burnett grew up in Southern California, completed his undergraduate degree at BYU in Utah, and graduated Magna cum laude from the UNLV School of Dental Medicine where he served as the president of the Oral Surgery club and the director of a volunteer clinic donating free dental care to military veterans. Dr. Burnett completed his surgical training at Cook County Hospital in Chicago where he was awarded the Resident of the Year award twice. Dr. Burnett currently works in private practice and as a Clinical Educator at the UCLA School of Dentistry. He is a member of the American & California Associations of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American & California Dental Societies of Anesthesiology, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the American & California Dental Associations. Dr. Burnett has completed certifications in ACLS, ATLS, PALS and BLS. Dr. Burnett lives in Orange with his wife and 3 children. Dr. Burnett is an Eagle Scout, has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, loves to play soccer and guitar, and is an avid Lakers fan.
