Dr James Chiu

Dr. James Chiu earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 2011, following his Bachelor's Degree in Science Biology from the University of the Pacific, Stockton, in 2007. To further his knowledge in modern dentistry, Dr. Chiu continued at the University of the Pacific to earn his certificate of Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Dr. Chiu is a general dentist with advanced training in all aspect of dentistry. He also has a gentle chair-side manner that patients appreciate. Dr. Chiu is a member of the Orange County Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Chinese American Dental Society of Southern California. He is fluent in Mandarin, Chinese, Taiwanese, and English. Dr. Chiu is committed to serving not only his patients but those without easy access to dental care. He has given his time as a volunteer during numerous screenings at health and dental fairs, and has volunteered his dental expertise for dental organizations such as CDA Care, From the Heart, and Give Kids a Smile. Dr. Chiu has also done dental missions to help those in need. As an Eagle Scout, Dr. Chiu understands that giving back to the community is important, and he continues to bring his skills to those in need.
