Dr Mark Macak

Dr. Mark Macak strives to give all of his patients two things: comfort and knowledge. He wants to ensure that each of his patients feels cared for to the utmost degree and that they feel free to ask any and all questions they may have. He truly believes that what makes a strong patient-dentist relationship is how comfortable a person is in his chair. The dentistry comes more easily afterwards. Dr. Macak earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Biology at Illinois Wesleyan University (IWU). There, he was on the board of Tri-Beta Biology Honors Society and a Resident Advisor to incoming students. He then graduated in May of 2023 from University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Dentistry. There, he was a board member of the Hispanic Student Dental Association, Representative of the Illinois Academy of General Dentistry, member of Chicago Dental Society, President of the Student Professionalism and Ethics Association, while also tutoring science courses. Ever since joining the team at Athos Dental, he has loved every second of it. He finds happiness in knowing when he gets to the office, he is surrounded by genuine people who all want what’s best for each patient.
