Dr Alexander Sakthivelu

Dr. A began the pursuit of his dental career in India. He earned his Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery in India and went on to pursue a Master’s of Dental Surgery in Orthodontics. Dr. A earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry. He also completed an Advanced Program for International Dentists in Orthodontics at the New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. A completed his residency in General Dentistry at the Staten Island University Hospital and a mini-residency in Implant Dentistry at Smile USA. His scope of dental expertise encompasses such procedures as tooth extractions, root canals, restorative crown and bridge treatments, removable dentures, orthodontics, dental implants, full mouth reconstruction, and cosmetic dental procedures. In Dr. A’s opinion, dentistry is not just drilling and filling, but the perfect blend of art and science. He enjoys getting to know his patients because he believes that the heart of patient care is taking a personalised approach.
