Dr Diva Puerta

Dr. Puerta is a graduate of New York University School of Dentistry and the University of Antioquia in Colombia, South America. She completed her dental degree twice. She is a very dedicated and meticulous professional, very much centered in the complete treatment of her patient, paying particular attention to the medical aspect of their care. She has not only been a clinical practitioner but has also given back to her profession by being an instructor at New York University in the dental clinic in many disciplines, like restorative dentistry, but was also involved in the technology aspect, particularly related to computer-aided design and manufacturing of cosmetic restorations. She has also served the community, being active in youth programs and participating in medical missions to Latin America and the Caribbean. Dr. Puerta is a very active member of her church as well. Dr. Puerta has participated in many continuing education programs in many different locations; she has attended the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, has attended dissection courses in Boston, which were very helpful during surgical training, implant placement, and restoration courses, is a ceramics specialist, and is a very well-rounded, complete professional who cares deeply for her patients. Dr. Puerta is very dedicated to her family and enjoys travel and dancing.
