Dr Seth B Portis

Dr. Portis is a native of Tennessee. Having graduated from Lipscomb University in 2001, he and his wife Carrie and their three children have enjoyed being a part of the Nashville and Williamson County community for the past several years! Dr. Portis received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. While at ULSD, Dr. Portis was selected for the Dean’s List for academic achievement multiple times, and he was selected by the administration to serve on the Admissions Committee to interview and select potential candidates for ULSD. After graduating from ULSD, Dr. Portis served as a General Dentist in Williamson County for many years performing restorative dentistry, crowns and bridges, veneers, dentures, clear aligner orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, pediatric dentistry, implant restorations, and oral surgery. Dr. Portis is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, and Nashville Dental Society. When asked about what area of Dentistry he enjoys most, he says, “I really do enjoy all aspects of cosmetic and family Dentistry. Each patient is unique and I feel blessed to serve the community doing what I love!” Dr. Portis enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds, and is very passionate about serving others. He and his family have always been active in their church and community, and they are excited to launch Portis Family Dental!
