Dr. Zavislak was born in Augusta, GA. He graduated from Mary Washington College here in Fredericksburg and the Medical College of Virginia’s School of Dentistry in 1995. Upon graduating from MCV, he attended the University of Florida to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. After completing the AEGD, Dr. Zavislak continued to practice in Florida for three years before returning to Fredericksburg to open his own practice with his wife, Dr. Porter, in 2001. Dr. Zavislak and Dr. Porter have a home in the Fredericksburg area with two wonderful kids, Zane and Isabella, and three beautiful dogs. In his spare time he enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.
