Dr Paul L. Michaelides

Dr. Michaelides is a Board Certified Periodontist with over thirty years of experience. A Fresno native, he graduated from Bullard High School, University of California, Berkeley, and University of the Pacific School of Dentistry (D.D.S.). He completed his Residency in Periodontology at Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry, earning a Master of Science in Dentistry. He taught Graduate Periodontics at USC School of Dentistry for over twenty years, winning the Excellence in Teaching award. He has lectured extensively, published in major journals, and is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Fresno Madera Dental Society, and Dental Honor Society Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Trained in Dental Implants by Dr. Branemark at University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Uses microsurgery, Piezosurgery, digital imaging, and oral conscious sedation.
