Dr. Don G. Lane was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1953 and moved to Englewood, California before settling in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. He attended over 10 different schools before high school. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 1980, following obtaining a degree at UNC in Chemistry from 1972. He opened his first practice in Fuquay-Varina, NC in 1980 and has since expanded to 50+ general practices and 10 specialty practices. He is married to Phyllis for over 45 years and has two daughters, Ashley and Jessie, and four grandsons. He loves animals, especially dogs, and enjoys picking up turtles and rescuing birds. He is addicted to Diet Rite and loves a good cigar.
