Dr. Dhara Patel was born and raised in Plant City, Florida. She is a proud two-time Gator, receiving both her bachelor’s and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees from the University of Florida (UF). Following her graduation from UF College of Dentistry, she completed her residency at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Orlando, Florida where she learned how to place and restore implants and perform smile makeovers. During her residency, Dr. Patel found that serving the veterans and listening to their stories was most rewarding. Dr. Patel knew from a young age she wanted to be a dentist through her journey with her own smile. She believes everyone deserves the highest quality of dental care and works diligently to provide it to her patients. In her spare time, Dr. Patel can be found volunteering, reading a good book, eating at a local mom-and-pop shop, or spending time with her family and friends.
