Dr. Randal Otis is a proud Lumpkin County native who has remained deeply connected to his roots. A lifelong baseball enthusiast, he played on the varsity team at Lumpkin County High School, where he graduated in 2010. He continued his education at the University of North Georgia, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry in 2014. Dr. Otis began his dental career as a lab technician before advancing to The Dental College of Georgia (DCG), where he worked as an assistant in the Graduate Prosthodontics Department. His dedication led him to pursue a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at DCG. With two years of private practice experience, Dr. Otis completed an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas City College of Dentistry, Truman Hospital, and Children’s Mercy Hospital. He volunteers as the lead dentist at The Anne Green Free Clinic in Dahlonega. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, hunting, fishing, shooting, hiking, camping, and time with his German Shorthaired Pointer, Jean.
