Dr. Keisha Brown is a native of Washington, DC. She first came to North Carolina to attend Bennett College for Women in Greensboro, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002. Dr. Brown furthered her dental education by completing a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington, DC in 2003. Having loved her time spent in the great state of North Carolina, Dr. Brown returned to NC to practise dentistry after completing her residency. She practised in Franklin County for 4 ½ years prior to opening Something to Smile About in Raleigh in 2008. Dr. Brown strives to provide the best care for her patients. In doing so, she utilises new technologies as well as attends several continuing education courses throughout the year. Dr. Brown is a member of the American Dental Association, Old North State Dental Society and the North Carolina Dental Society.
