Dr. Wilson graduated from Shelby High School in 1981 and from the University of North Carolina in 1985 and the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 1989. He has been in private practice since 1989 in Shelby and Mooresville, North Carolina. He is married to Anne Marie Ghigo from Shelby. She is employed with Clorox in Oakland, CA. Dr. Wilson has three children Erin, Laura and Jay. His parents are the late Jimmy and Ruth Wilson of Shelby. Dr. Wilson has been active in Young Life of Cleveland County having served on the Young Life Committee for many years. He has been an active member of Central United Methodist Church in Shelby. Dr. Wilson is also a Past President of the Shelby Kiwanis Club. He enjoys pickleball, golf and sports.
