Dr. Matt Borders was born and raised in Shelby, North Carolina. He is a 1999 graduate of Shelby High; he then graduated from Wofford College in 2003 with his Bachelor of Science in Biology degree. He attended dental school at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated in 2007.
