Dr Tamdan Vodinh

Dr. Tamdan Vodinh was born and raised in Vietnam and moved to the United States as a teenager. Since then, she has proudly called Montgomery County her home. With over 15 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Vodinh is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages. She began her academic journey at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology from the School of Medicine. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Howard University College of Dentistry in 2006. During her time at Howard, Dr. Vodinh was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society, in recognition of her academic excellence and clinical proficiency. To further enhance her skills, Dr. Vodinh completed a residency in Advanced General Dentistry at the University of Maryland Dental School. She is also a proud Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), an honor earned by only 6% of general dentists in the U.S., reflecting her commitment to lifelong learning and excellence in patient care. Dr. Vodinh holds an orthodontic certification from Progressive Orthodontics and is a member of the Molis Coaching community, a network of professionals dedicated to mastering the art and science of Invisalign. She is passionate about using the latest dental technologies to deliver healthy, beautiful, and long-lasting smiles—especially through customized Invisalign treatment. Her professional interests span all aspects of dentistry, from preventive care to complex cosmetic procedures. Dr. Vodinh continually advances her clinical skills by participating in ongoing continuing education courses throughout the year. In addition to her practice, Dr. Vodinh has volunteered her time and expertise to provide pro bono dental care in remote and underserved communities around the world—a testament to her commitment to service and global outreach. Dr. Vodinh believes in building long-term relationships with her patients, rooted in trust, comfort, and individualized care. Her approach is guided by the motto: “Taking care of your family like our own.” She strives to create a welcoming and relaxed environment where every patient feels valued, heard, and supported in achieving their personal oral health goals. Fluent in both English and Vietnamese, Dr. Vodinh enjoys connecting with patients from diverse backgrounds. Outside the office, she loves traveling, practicing yoga, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
