Dr. Echetebu grew up in Brentwood, Tennessee, near Nashville. He earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, completing DDS studies at University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Dr. Echetebu served residence at the Foundry Dental Clinic in Birmingham, Alabama, through NYU Lutheran. In this Advanced Education in General Dentistry program, the doctor earned certification in sedation and implant dentistry. Dr. Echetebu recently completed the The Concept of Complete Dentistry Series at the Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida. While Dr. Echetebu enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, he takes special interest in implantology — placing and restoring dental implants — oral surgery, and sedation techniques. He is a member of the American Dental Association® and the Tennessee Dental Association. He met his wife, Andrea, during his dental school years and subsequently moved back to Memphis to marry her. When he is not at the office, Dr. Echetebu enjoys spending time chasing after his one-year-old son, Adan.
