Growing up in Southeastern Idaho where his father worked as a fine artist doing oil paintings, Dr. Birch always had a passion for art. As he grew older, he realised he also wanted to pursue a healthcare career. When he first got his taste of the dental field working in an orthodontic lab in college, he discovered that dentistry was that perfect blend of artistry and healthcare—and he’s been hooked ever since. Dr. Birch attended Arizona State University for his undergraduate studies, where he majored in Psychology. He then went on to attend Nova Southeastern College of Dental Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree. All along, seeing the confidence and happiness that people gain from a renewed smile has been Dr. Birch’s greatest motivation. In his spare time, Dr. Birch plays keyboard, and guitar, and sings in a cover band, playing shows a few times each month in local venues around the valley. He also enjoys wakeboarding, snowboarding, and travelling with his wife and family—especially to places where they can snorkel or scuba dive.
