Dr. Avi Gibberman is a native of Newport News, VA and comes from a family of dentists. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. He then received his Doctor in Dental Surgery, Magna Cum Laude, from Virginia Commonwealth University, finishing second in his dental school class. After dental school, he moved to Northern Virginia where he practiced family, cosmetic, and implant dentistry for five years. He has been very active with the Virginia Dental Association and has served both on the Northern Virginia Dental Society executive committee and the board of the Richmond Dental Society. Dr. Gibberman is clinically talented and committed to bringing to his patients the most current advances in the field of dentistry. Dr. Gibberman and his wife Jamie are both fitness enthusiasts who enjoy spending time outdoors with their daughter and puppy, LuLu. Dr. Gibberman is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Richmond Dental Society. He takes tremendous pride in offering personal care and individual attention to each and every patient. Dr. Gibberman meets with every one of his patients at each of their visits, supporting quality and consistency in oral health care. His gentle touch and compassionate attitude ensure your concerns are heard and alleviated. He believes that building relationships is just as important as remaining knowledgeable and up-to-date on the latest in dentistry. He takes the time to listen to his patients and views each person as an individual. This allows him to provide treatment plans that are customized to your needs and expectations. He strives to equip each person with the information needed to make personal dental care decisions. Using intra-oral cameras, demonstration videos, and a chair-side monitor, Dr. Gibberman is able to educate you about dental conditions and his treatment recommendations.
