Dr. Jasmine Gear is a proud graduate of Howard University College of Dentistry, where she cultivated her passion for delivering exceptional General Dentistry care. I’m Dr. Jasmine Gear, and I’m thrilled to be your trusted dentist. My journey has taken me from Madison, Wisconsin, to Owings Mills, MD, and it has truly been an incredible adventure. My passion for dentistry began in high school when I spent my summer vacations assisting in my aunt’s private dental practice. It was during those formative years that I discovered my true calling. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Biology from Southern Connecticut State University in 2013. The following year, I was accepted into the Howard University College of Dentistry, where I began my path toward becoming a dentist. After graduation, I continued my education with a one-year advanced training program in general dentistry at East Carolina University, further refining my skills to provide the best possible care for my patients. My professional journey then took me to the beautiful island of Martha’s Vineyard, where I had the privilege of working as the sole practitioner and interim dental director at Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. It was an amazing experience that helped me grow both personally and professionally. In 2021, I returned to Maryland to be closer to my family, where I was appointed Chief Dentist at Access Carroll Integrated Health Center. As a member of the American Dental Association, I am committed to staying at the forefront of dental care, ensuring that each patient receives the highest quality treatment in a compassionate and welcoming environment.
