Dr. Fred C. Wong grew up in Covina, California. He was raised in a dental family with his father, Dr. Francis Wong, having been a dentist since 1960. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychobiology from UCLA and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from USC in 1988. During his time in school, Dr. Wong received various awards including: an academic scholarship to UCLA, The Floyd Hogeboom Award for outstanding achievement in pediatric dentistry and the Dental Ambassador Award for 3 years of voluntary service with the USC Mobile Clinic. Dr. Wong is a strong proponent of continuing education.
