Dr Joseph Chen

Dr. Joseph Chen was born and raised in Taiwan and, from the age of seven, aspired to be a dentist. He moved to Southern California at the age of twelve and attended Goddard Middle School and Glendora High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in Medical Biology from UC Riverside and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from UC San Francisco School of Dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Joseph Chen fulfilled his dream of working as a dentist in his hometown and is an active member in many organizations including the ADA, CDA and the Tri-County Dental Society. Dr. Chen is an expert in restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry. He stays up to date with the latest technology and advancements by taking advanced courses yearly to enhance his skills and better serve his patients. He strives to help patients accomplish their dental goals with sincere emphasis on quality and ethical dental care. He believes that patients should understand every procedure and treatment option, so they can make the best decision regarding their dental needs. His work focuses on restorative and cosmetic dentistry, but also provides dental implants for patients seeking to replace their missing teeth. Dr. Chen believes that excellent dental care begins with building strong and trusting relationships. In his spare time, Dr. Chen enjoys providing dental care to those with limited access to dentistry. In the past, he has served those in Honduras, Mexico, China and rural USA. When not at work, he enjoys running, swimming and just about anything outdoors. He has a passion for travel and food, and he values spending time with family and friends.
