Dr Rachel M. Hoy

Dr. Rachel Hoy was raised in Buffalo Grove, IL. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Health, and Society from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She furthered her education at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Hoy completed a robust General Practice Residency program at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Allentown, PA. She is excited to return to her home state to practice dentistry. She wanted to become a dentist since she was a young girl. Having family members in the dental profession sparked her interest in dentistry. During her dental training, Dr. Hoy focused on academic achievement and continuing education opportunities to gain more knowledge of dentistry to ensure patients receive the highest quality of care. While in school, she received academic honors in radiology earning her the Adrian R. and Regina Kristellar Prize in Radiology. As a practitioner, Dr. Hoy believes in communication and education to ensure patients fully understand the scope of treatment, reasons for treatment, and outcomes of treatment. Dr. Hoy practices personalizing dental care based on individual needs and ensures patient expectations are met.
