Dr. Bao Hoang received his undergraduate degree in Biology from UNC Greensboro and graduated with an honors distinction. He then earned his DMD degree from Western University of Health Sciences. Upon graduation, he was awarded the HPSP Scholarship from the U.S. Army. While commissioned as a dental officer, he received numerous military decorations and awards for his outstanding contributions to his fellow soldiers and was honorably discharged after completing active-duty terms at Fort Bliss, TX, in 2018. Dr. Hoang is continuing to serve in the Army Reserve Unit as a general dentist with the rank of Major. He is now happy to call Raleigh, NC his home and would like to bring his gentle approach to dentistry to his patients. Dr. Hoang is a fellow with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics (AAIP). He also belongs to the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). Dr. Hoang is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance his skills and better serve the dental care needs of his patients, providing them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience. Dr. Hoang lives in Raleigh, NC, with his wife, son, and daughter. When not caring for patients, he enjoys his time off with family, traveling, and trying out new restaurants.
